TRASH TRAPPER

Trash Trapper is a purpose-driven iOS app that empowers users to stay fit while cleaning their city. Created in response to New York City's growing litter crisis, the app encourages users to collect trash while walking or running—transforming everyday workouts into acts of environmental care.

Inspired by fitness apps like Nike Run Club, Trash Trapper tracks your activity while integrating community cleanup goals, offering a seamless blend of personal health and urban impact. The interface design features calming, nature-inspired tones of green and blue, creating a grounded and refreshing user experience. Each screen was carefully designed using stock elements and a custom icon system to make the experience feel organic, clear, and uplifting.

From logo and branding to full UX/UI design, Trash Trapper was crafted as a digital product that connects physical wellness with collective responsibility—making sustainability part of your daily routine. If you’d like to try the interactive prototype, feel free to reach out via DM.

More about the research for Trash Trapper

I'm envisioning a green and blue design that evokes a sense of nature and purity,
blending the tranquility of natural elements with a feeling of freshness and cleanliness.

First I made the site navigation in order to continue with the scketching of the app.

Then I went with the scketching part before jumping into design.

Next, wireframing was done to create a more realistic app prototype, helping to refine the design through research aimed at identifying which layout provided a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

Finally, an accurate version of the design emerged alongside the wireframing, marking the completion of the project. After over three months of research, this page showcases the final product, from its inception to the final stages, for Trash Trapper—a school project aimed at cleaning up NYC and promoting healthier living.

AQUA SOURCE
(try it out HERE)

In a world where every drop is power.

AquaSource is a decentralized, community-driven app designed for a speculative future where water is the most precious resource on Earth—far more valuable than gold. In this reality, every individual owns an AquaTank, the sole source of water in their household. Through the app, users can monitor their water levels, manage usage, and refill their tanks using a currency called AquaCredits.

But AquaSource is more than a utility—it’s a visual and sensory experience crafted to reflect the beauty, urgency, and scarcity of water.

We created a dynamic visual system based on shifting gradients of blue, inspired by oceans, glaciers, and digital fluidity. After extensive color exploration, we landed on a palette that evokes both calm and tension—a delicate balance between life and crisis. The interface moves like water itself: expanding, evaporating, flowing with sensitivity and rhythm. Every tap triggers liquid-inspired sound cues like splash, glup glup, and whipp, turning interaction into immersion.

                                                                Moodboard

At the core of the identity is the AquaSource logo: a minimal, deep-blue drop of water. Simple yet powerful, it encapsulates the essence of the platform—resource, currency, and symbol of survival.

The wireframe for AquaSource was designed to map a clear, intuitive user journey while supporting the project’s speculative narrative. It outlined key flows—from checking AquaTank levels to trading AquaCredits—prioritizing usability and emotional storytelling.

Interactions were planned to feel fluid and organic, echoing water’s natural behavior. Even in its skeletal form, the wireframe laid the foundation for a design system that merges functionality with immersive, world-building design.

The AquaTank is the core of the AquaSource ecosystem—a personal, digital water reserve assigned to each individual household. In a world where water is scarce and sacred, the AquaTank represents survival, ownership, and autonomy.

Users monitor and refill their AquaTanks through the app using AquaCredits
This project reflects our belief that design can make speculative futures tangible, and asks urgent questions about value, equity, and access—through a beautifully fluid, highly considered experience.
